One big question will TDP,JD(U),DMK/AIADMK,Trinamool congress support narendra modi for Prime minister.I think BIg no.Without regional party Modi cannot give majority in Lok sabha.That is reality of INdian politics after rajiv gandhi govt. 1984 to 1989.

The thenRajivGandhi govt had played "CompetitiveCommunalism" at that time; enacting a retrograde law int he wake of SC Judgement in ShahBanoCase and at the same time opening the gates of the disputedStructure for theHindus toWorship. L.K.Advani and SyedSahabuddin saw opportunity in the same and exploited the issue to the maximum extent possible. From a 2 MP Party in 1984, BJP became the RulingParty in 1999. That also brought an end to single party rule in India for all time to come.
Can anybody tell me what has he done for Gujrat People. Are they buying petrol with atleast 1 % less compared to other states, are they buying vegetable with atleast 1 % less compared to other states, are the buying homes with interest with atleast 1 % less compared to other states, are they buying wheat, rice, sugar, tea with atleast 1 % less compared to other states.

i ws a gr8 modi hater ! but he showd the ba**s to invite nano to sanand after the gr8 joker mamta banerjee drove it out of bengal ! now maruti and other major auto makers are making a bee line for gujarat ! it takes courage of conviction to take a bold step like that! as for the examples you hv given , they r all under the central govt's jurisdiction !

No... but people in Gujarat are earning 10% more than other large states... so in effect (purchasing parity wise) things are more than 1% cheaper. Also, Gujarat is growing much faster, the share in the benefits are disproportionately larger in favour of farmers (better irrigation) and SMEs (generate employment). Plus, better infrastructure, better law and order, safety for women, better performance of human development indicators. So yes, the benefits are far more than 1%. Don't ask questions you will not like the answers to.
