I am happy that few footpath dwelers lifes are saved.

Azza,
Burai seng jo mel rachaye phir kabhi na chhute uska saya...I bet azza is happy as he will get reelected due to sympathy.
It seems non-intutive but such people lose family love. Saw how he shook hands at airport.

Tax evasion ?
by Karthik Balasubramaniyan on Sep 18, 2011 04:59 AM  | Hide replies

The Suzuki GSX R1000 which took the life of Azharuddin's son Ayazuddin was registered in the name of a petty footwear trader from the Old City in Hyderabad. Officials are checking if Azhar had bought the bike in the merchant's name to avoid attention of I-T officers.

not just that, this brat was driving his super bike at almost 200 kmph (atleast that is what FIR says). instead of the boy, what if other ordinary road users would have been killed. would media still report such an accident. If any ordinary citizen drives his vehicle at anything more than 80-100kmph our traffic cops will be waiting to punish them. what about this incident. a criminal case should have been filed against azhar and his son. like father (a traitor) like son (spoilt brat).

Why this big fuss?
by Lord Prosperity on Sep 17, 2011 08:31 AM  | Hide replies

hundreds die on road everyday, no one cares even to stop to help the victim, but here on web there is such a show of sympathy! The person who died was trying some stunts at his own peril and also putting others' lives in danger for their own thrill. The father should have had better sense not to buy such toys to his kids, what was the need for such a thing? He is away in London, mother in Dubai and the kid is all free to do whatever non-sense he wants to do! If the parents have no time or responsibility, they better have no kids. By the way the father has shown his irresponsibility as India captain, so should not be surprised if he ignores his family responsibility also.
A practical suggestion is to display gory accidents in schools so that the children get sensitive and don't do such things. In America, they bring fully damaged cars to the schools and display to the schools, the ill-effects of fast driving. Well we will take ages to implement such programs in schools until we have few more free-ways where some auto or bullock cart goes in the opposite way facing the high-speed traffic!

No one has the right to belittle a family which has lost its loved one.

My condolence goes to the family. May god give them strength in this hour of tragedy.

No one is belittiling the loss here, just pointing out the hypocrisy of the people. If a poor man's son dies in an accident, no one even cares to write reams and reams of condolences. Just becoz a tainted former captain's son who died because of some stupid thinking and violating the laws, is shown all the sympathy as if he is some saint!

Please be brave but not FOOLHARDY. Aiming to join Army in India at 18 and serve India BRAVE.Aiming to break your own record of 220 kmph to reach 250 kmph (140 mph) is foolhardy.

Results of the foolhardiness do not matter ....

Adulthood and Maturity
by Indra Sengupta on Sep 17, 2011 01:45 AM  | Hide replies

Adulthood and maturity may not necessarily go together.
Still maturity to a great extent is relevant to age.
Motor bike riding must be restricted to the elders and 30 years should be the legal limit.
If it is allowed to 18 year old then these should be identifiable special models with maximum 30 km speed limit.
There must be some stringent law.

How does that even make sense? You say yourself that adulthood and maturity may not necessarily go together; yes, kids are reckless and I think its more the responsibility of PARENTS to ensure that their kids do not go berserk with toys like this. Quite obviously, the lack of implementation of any (traffic in this case) laws ensures that no-one really is scared to go out on the road and drive at mad speeds, whether its teenage kids or older men. A life is a life. It's either creation of fear for laws (which, till now has really not worked too great), self-realization (I think we're past that era in this world) or just a little pressure from family/friends to realize what's best for you.
We're in a place where 13 year old kids can drive ridiculously dangerous ATVs, which have speed limits of 30-40-50km/h but well, they kill too.
