For the first time (after the 90s era) I am seeing a Kannada commercial movie made so neat, clean having realistic events narrated with mixed emotions. No violence, No action sequences, and simple choreography grabs attention. FOr the first time everything falls in place so bvilliantly - Artists lend their own voices, nice editing and screenplay. Wonderful! Diganth delivers a fine performance and makes audiences go teary-eyed effortlessly.
finally we the kannada fans got a chance to relief in the theatre by watching life ishtene.. it's really an awesome n a must watch movie. if u can understand kannada, pls watch it once in theatre. Its a complete entertainment package with a emotional climax.
Its been ages since we got to see a good Kannada movie....The makers needed to be lauded...Agreed, that the 2nd half could have been a bit more tighter

The director was lucky that he was able to close it fairly well with a kinda mixed feelings..
Lifeu Ishtene can not be generalised as a film belonging to particular Genre. The new director pawan kumar has tried to provide a gripping narration to a tight script. Though traditional minded critics can still argu that the film does not have any serious sensitive content or it sends some wrong signals to present day youth. Lifeu Ishtene is a worth a watch for its black humour, good technical support and a tight narrative. The sequences featuring Diganth and his friend Satish can best illustrate this point as much as Diggy’s interacitons with two main heroines Samyuktha and Sindhu. Diganth and Sanath who shine well with their lively performance. Mano Murthy’s two song compositions “Yaarige Helonaa’ and “Devadasa’ had already become hugely popular and the picturisations of these things once again appeal the audience. Lifeu Ishtene is a must watch for all the youngsters, but for family audience it would be a neat entertainer.
