Bodyguard Review
by Praveen Jha on Sep 05, 2011 03:02 PM

Any stars are there to entertain us, we must not mix the personal and professional lives. The film is doing well and we must acknowledge public reactions who are intelligent enough.

People getting carried away
by ABC XYZ on Sep 05, 2011 11:50 AM  | Hide replies

This is a classic example of making public fool by creating great hype of movie, spending huge money on publicity and paid reviews to gather as much money as possible in 4-5 days before the real face of movie comes out prominently from public opinion. The movie does not deserve even a single watch and scores 0 on every aspect of acting, story, direction, music stil people are making money.

You mean they paid for getting 1.5 stars and getting trashed and thrashed by the critics? Have you read the reviews, you idiot? Promoting the movie in a normal manner doesn't mean hyping. Everybody does that.

RAJNIKANTH vs SALMAN?
by Crickbufff on Sep 05, 2011 08:58 AM  | Hide replies

the comparison was idiotic as brought up by some in this forum!!
RAJNI is a far better actor and a far far far better human being than SALMAN!!
SALMAN has gangster links, was involved in a homicide (but went scott-free - power of his money) and should have been in prison long back!!

Acharya, you might be a fan of Salman...but, reaching the level of Rajnikanth is hardly possible for him....Yes, Rajnikanth is not a son of producer or from any filmy back ground....he was a bus conductor...and rose to the level of superstar by sheerhard work....So, obviously he looks like a coolie....hence, common man identifies themselves with him and people adore him not just only for his screen presence but also for his social service....Salman is definitely praiseworthy for his successive hits in recent times...but, that doesn't mean you humiliate rajni with racist remarks...it shows your sickness..get a life dude...

Personally to everybody who is commenting here...i just have to say one thing, its about time India as a country has to be split into different countries maybe north india ,south india and so on and so forth. Its been ages these kinda talks are going on, Rajanikanth looks like coolie, salman looks like that ,shahrukh looks like this, mohanlal is fat but if he was from the north he was good. But before all these things happen,.....since u started it ,check out all the movies that has been released in hindi for the past 10 yrs,and check out which is "not' a remake from a south indian movie, maybe 1 or 2....so "acharya patashala friends" think (if you can)hehe before you comment ...imagine a hindi film industry without a malayali director called"PRIYADARSHAN' actors like akshay kumar would have been picking sh*t on the street if it was not for the mohanlal movies that pryadarshan remade in hind with askhay kumar and the rest....

Meaningful Cinema and SALMAN
by Crickbufff on Sep 05, 2011 08:56 AM  | Hide replies

poles apart!
a semblance of his acting talent was last visible a bit in Tere Naam.. else he has been generating crap after crap and weirdly they make money.
As for some comparing him to Rajnikanth - RAJNI is a far better actor and a far far better human being than SALMAN!!

What humanity got to do with acting prowess. Only when we cut this emotional crap of "good human being" etc can we patronize merit in true form. Look at Hollywood - no one talks about morals there. Its pure merit. Only in India we find actors preach morals to public and gain more political mileage and mass popularity. Hope foolish Indians come out of this coma sooner than later.
