yes you are right. only becuase of this interference, we got movies like AnbeyShivam,Hey Ram, Aboorva sagotharagalu, Kshatriya Putrudu. Kamal is very passionate about movies. So he takes interest in every department. Waiting to see his next magnum opus Viswaroopam
I do not understand why we slumdogs even think of making sophisticated hitech movies. we should leave it for western people. for india, shit holes movies suit

Did you forget that this is a Indian Message board, for you guys there is a training camp going on now in the northwest hills of your country. Go attend that mandatory training and grow some goat beard.
Sabu Cyril's comment "Only Kamal Hassan interfers with work" means that he know more about the techniques used in movies. That what he means to say here. So people particularly northies should not take this as a negative note and start cribbing on the highly progressive south indians.

In fact, it was one-off the remark made in the entire conversation, cannot make it as headline for the news item. This is rediff's cheap publicity material for RaOne.

Sabu Cyril actually means, 'Only Kamal Haasan comes up with his own ideas and contributes something'.

Northies dont hate Kamal. I am born and brought up in Hyderabad and I have seen almost all films of him.
yeah if u know a bit too much about everything related to cinema, you cant avoid 'interfering'. after all it is all for making the movie better. Kamal Haasan is a master of all arts. So he know what to extract from these technicians. Hey Ram is a fine example

that is the reason most of his movies have been huge flops over the last decade :) :) :)

Yeah....Kamal Haasan is reported to get involved in all the fields of film making especially if he is commercially involved. This at times can be irritating for people who are already high on creativity and they would feel it as an obstruction of their thought process. No wonder Sabu Cyril was not considered for Dasavatharam. Looks like he had enough from Kamal during Hey Ram!

he had both huge flops as well as huge hits in the last decade. dasavatharam is the second biggest hit in tamil cinema. and vettaiyadu vilaiyadu, thenali, virumandi, vasool raja were huge hits. even the low budget unnaipol oruvan made 20C profits

When a movie is dubbed(i am not talking about remake), the true essence of the movie is lost and if the movie still does well, thats the greatness of the movie and the performance of artists. Many hollywood movies are hits in India. Appu raja, hindustani, heyram(chachi 420 is remake) are dubbed in hindi and were hit films. Tell me one hindi movie dubbed in any south indian language and has become hit (there are many hindi movies dubbed everyyear and become utter flop that northies do not get to know)

Nasser or anupam kher would have looked like fish out of water in Kamal's role.
