I can say without any second thought that i am not a SRK fan but I do admire him as a person. He is the epitome of rags to riches. In an industry driven by nepotism, he came from nowhere and ruled the industry. And what were his tools ? Good looks? maybe. Acting? No way. So what was it? I think it was just Gods blessings on a person who dared to break known social barriers. Married a hindu girl just because his heart said so. Pursued movies for the same reason. In the last 2 decades, i cant think of a single reason I should HATE him. He is the perfect family man, the perfect Indian with his secular values. So whats all this hate about?? It cant be his movies because I have seen the worst cheapest movies being adored by people in India. It cant be his character as I am yet to hear any scandal attached to him. It could be his religion. If thats the case, its very sad and says a lot about humanity.
One day this guy will be mad and die of madness.. he wants everything.. first he followed amitabh, did everythinhg what AB did to prove he is better, then had to say sorry to amitabh after his KBC was flopped, now he wants to regain the king status by spending money without having any creativity or meaningfull movies...! he is in the middle of the downhill that he doesn't realize.. his time of ooh aaah aa aaa acting has gone and people now like creativity and meaningful films with good acting.. he is a mere businessman and should compete with businesmman like Mallaya and Ambani, not with Aamir, Salma or AB

Yeah. People now like creativity and meaningful films like Ready, Bodyguard, Singham etc etc. Good one. And by the way what a movie star is supposed to do if not than what you mentioned here ?
Why is he so desperate to gain publicity everywhere? I personally feel hes trying to proomote himself too hard as he knows he has a bad product in his hand

I dont have any problem with the ppl publicising their films.. but sometimes if they go overboard like this srk what hes doing for raone then you start beginning to smell fishy.. if you compare the srk's other films like chak de and rab ne .. they didnt have much publicity done because he already knew its a good product and look how wonderful those films turned out to be

He is in show-biz. What else he has to do other than promoting himself. If not then why SRT and others are there ?
