it's surprising that ur supporting aamir and salman ,who copy south indian movies and copy the acting syles of south indian stars, and then call them great actors.Support people who make orginals such as Ra One
The amount collected at the ticket window is taxed in India. This tax is called entertainment tax. These taxes vary from state to state. Nett gross figures are always after this tax has been deducted while gross figures are before this tax has been deducted. The entertainment tax rate has come down a lot in practically all the states since 2003. The highest rate today is in Uttar Pradesh of 60%. The gross collection of a film at the present time can be anywhere from 30-35% higher than the nett collections today depending on where the collections are coming from.

Wake up Mr Srivsatava....the film has already flopped....even 95 crores is not even half of production cost.
It is another matter however, that some tv company will buy television rights....

did u saw the shahrukh khan interview with taran adarsh....it was revealed by SRK that the movie budget was actually only 120 crores...if u dont believe go n see the video on youtube... and the grossing of 95 crores is only in india excluding the oevrseas gross.. if u include overseas gross the movie already grossed 121 crores nett within five days....
SRK overall better than anyone as a person or entertainer. I am 100% sure that rediff did not get reasonable money to advertise Ra.One. So, it keep on publishing stuff which is discourage the business of SRK film Ra.One
Ra.One: Turns a big profit only in 3 days, break all records - The Economic Times
MUMBAI: Ra.One, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's expensive sci-fi flick, has turned in a profit just three days after release, the head of the production company said on Friday.
Kishore Lulla, the CEO of Eros International, which produced the movie, told ET that Ra.One has broken all box office records for Diwali so far. "I am already into profit ," Lulla said. Shah Rukh Khan's riskiest and most expensive film so far opened on Diwali, Wednesday amidst much expectation about its box office numbers and how it will stack up against rival Salman Khan's Bodyguard, a huge hit when it was released a few months ago.
Bodyguard raked in Rs 21.5 crore in the first day, a record number. Lulla says that RA.One made a net collection of Rs 18.5 crore on the first day, and Rs 25 crore on the second day. Gross (excluding entertainment tax) two-day collections were Rs 67 crore. RA.One's first day collections led many to believe that the movie had underperformed expectations.
Bollywood trade figures on Friday are also a shade lower than Lulla with many saying that first day collections were Rs 15.5 crore while the second day was Rs 22-23 crore. But Lulla poo-poohs such comments saying that the movie has set a new record for Diwali with first day collections of Rs 18.5 crore, much higher than Golmal 3, which netted Rs 8.5 crore.
Lulla says that his firm will still end up with 53-55% shar
