here was a time when Robot was criticized for the same reason. Except the south indian reviewers, no one gave it thumbs up.
But look at now, after grossing more than 250 crores, no one is talking about its flaws. I enjoyed Robot, the way I enjoyed Ra.one.
I guess we should not talk about the flaws in the script, as these are fictional movies. You can't expect a robot dancing like rajni. Neither you can expect characters coming out of the game.
So, ignore the reviews people. Watch Ra.One at the nearest theater(nearly every theater is playing it). And enjoy the movie for its VFX, songs, entertainment and more importantly - the hard work.
P.S. Watch it in 3D, if you can. Its awesome in it.

HMMM...I have heard about paid writers, who writes all good things for any crap movies, now I can see that we have also paid commentator as well... Well Mr. or Miss. gtg, how much you receive for writing those crappy comments.
I guess Mr. Samit Basu should try to decode, how to write interesting articles.
And, Ra.One is not a cult classic like Batman Series, but a fairly entertaining movie. And, so was Robot.
They have included songs and witty humour because the masses loves it.
1. Rediff guys are saying that some scenes in RaOne are silly. But, those scenes are nothing as compared to Sallu's shirt torn off in Dabangg. And, Sallu train jumping and flying (literally) in Bodygaurd. But still, masses loved it.
2. They are saying that SRK's goofy acting fell flat. What? You found him intelligent in those scenes?
3. SRK played himself in the movie. Sallu played Sallu in wanted, Bodygaurd, ready and Dabangg.
4. And how did SRK managed to breach security in UK and Mumbai. Man, we still don't know if he is a robot or human. (They didnt explain it). He looked like Shekar, had his passport. Moreover, it is nothing in comparison to how rajni used a chip to show robot skeleton in Robot.
And, I think the writers of Ra One did absolutely right by not going giving too much details about how the characters came out of the game. After all, its impossible. If they had given some reason, you would have pointed it out as foolish.
Even Sholay was criticized for bring over the top. It was also panned by the critics. Now look where it is.
And please, we are Indians - no matter Rajni, sallu, SRK, akshay or Amir Fans. Why are you guys fighting here?

Good One. I agree. why fight? Just enjoy the cinema and if you don't like any actor or actress, please do not watch their movie. But please do not spread or create negativity.
not sure what the issue is, SRK has already recovered his money by selling the satellite rights etc. and the movie is still doing good business, 18cr on diwali is a record and it is expected to do better on the following day. but in india some people are afraid of change i think. these people are not capable of doing anything except complain, like many of you. you people are not capable of doing anything with your life so you try to pull people down to your level. but it wont work. keep trying because you are nothing. just average no bodies
