Mahesh latest blockbuster Dookudu collected 12.5 crores on the first day of its release. Considering Mahesh's limited audience reach the fiture is astronomical, where as, Salman and Sharukh with wider audience could make only 21 and 15 crore on the first day. Imagine if Mahesh were bollywood hero he would surpass any hero in the country, and Mahesh looks and acts way better than Salman and SRK.

Answer is those limited audience couldn't understand the movie in first few times they need to see it again n again and why they cant understand its for obvious reason...

When people give thumbs up to mindless crap like Bodyguard, Ready, which are not even original and are remakes and even hail the Hollywood-type super heroes like Spiderman and Superman- It has nothing else but double standards in capitals. In fact, I found Ra-one more believable and entertaining than films like 'Kal ho na ho', and 'kuch kuch hota hain' ! And I'm no SRK fan.Watch it!! Its absolute fun !!

Fully agree with you, shivani! Fail to understand why this negative hype abt the movie? It's a good, fast-paced one with the best SFX ever in Bollywood. Far better than the idiotic comdies being churned out every other week. Go for it, it's paisa-vasool entertainment!! (and this is NOT a paid post & no, i am also NOT a SRK fan).....

i dont know why ppl are against it. if u expect super hero movies than you have to come out of typical indian mentally. this is a new approach, lots of hard work done. super vfx. surprising stunts. the movie couldve been better, but its a first time approach. and its great as it is. maybe its not for indian mind. whatever it is, the movie was great but couldve been better. so ppl stop criticizing.

Right. The Ra.One is having good moment of entertainment. And very effective background score in particular when Ra.One is starting to learn on its own when RaOne and GOne clashes. And ofcourse it takes lot of time and effort to break convention hindi cinema sterotypeness. but SRK has money and will to do that.So next time he will come with much bigger one. And in doing that we as an Indian will benefit more. But people just keep hating him but that is the nature of people.If we cant do anything good, we will not allow someone else also !!

And one more thing why we Indian discourage this type of movies is that every spoken and unspoken word is well understood by us in Hindi unlike Hollywood movie in which we mostly watch videos and lest bothered about the story/script. We same people will feel proude in watching and discussing Inception, Avatar, Tron and other such movies and will find good logic in those but since RaOne is hindi we easily understand and so criticise for its illogical concepts etc.
