Vijay is a potential actor.Some time back in an Interview he said that his face doesn't fit for transformation of characters by changing new get ups hence he was not able to do varieties.What we need to say that he do not need to wear a get up he should study the character he engaged in a film and execute the same natuarally. From his first movie to till date he never changed his voice modulation and anna dialogue.for example karthi did not changed his get up but his performance in paruthi veeran was outstanding like that vijay need to study the character. Even if he repeatedly doing same type of roles he need to concenterate on costumes whether that kind of character in real life will wear that and body language and dialogue delivery.Having a huge fan base he should not not cheat his fans by doing sterotype roles and should try to commit to new directors like sasikumar,myshkin who definitely would utilise the best of him.Can any fan of Vijay can able to tell the character name of him in at least 10 movies even Vijay himself cant remember those as all characters he handled were similar types .Nowadays people like the characters that evolves in their routine life e.g Engaeyum Eppothum.
Of course his previous film Kaavalan was atleast able to accalaim critical reviews.
Hope Nanban will give a relief to him and his fans.

velayutham itself doing well in india and overseas...please check with Ayangaran if you have any doubt..we could full house shows in France and in UK cineworld ilford....not many watched Engaeyum eppothum which is called as a multiplex hit...Vijay has his fans in all the class so doing the same role would not affect him at all but only the script should be strong...rajini movie shivaji got bad reviews but that was a real time blockbuster...

there are people to do different films with get ups but there is only vijay and rajini to do mass movies.he has chosen the right path by giving mass entertainers with some logic
REDIFF, DO YOU WANT SUPPORT SURYA (EVENTHOUGH HIS MOVIE WAS IN WORST CONDITIONS) RATHAR THAN OTHER ACTORS(VIJAY/AJITH) OR DO YOU HAVE ANY INTERNAL DEAL WITH SURYA?
As usual, rediff known for poor review. People will not decide to see the movie based on Rediff review. Mankatha - 2.5 star - Blockbuster Velayutham - 2.5 star - Hearing good about movies 7th Sense - 3 star - Hearing very bad about movies...

sorry to tell. to b frank. 7am arivu not upto the mark. script is so poor. not utilized the way we want. wasted such a good martial arts actor in this movie. we expected such a good fight in the end. but poor stunt choreography.
