Forget about VFX, Forget about comparison; Just go and enjoy the movie as if you were in Antartica and never heard of its publicity and just came back and watching it; I bet you will definately like it; thats why I see kids liking it more as they are not under any marketing impression; Its a total entertainer;with fun, humour, masti, emotion and yes VFX also; You can go in your diwali holidays with your family and watch it; enjoy...
ra one is a total dissapointment! i wasted my 500 bucks and my time this diwali watching this movie. if a like watching genuinly good movies dont watch this movie, coz srk fans r gonna watch it even though it sucked to the core!!

I think movies are for entertainment and to relax your self, lot of people think themselves as genius and movies as a serious media and write these kind of absurd reviews,, So Ignore kar,,ignore kar,,Go watch the movie and get entertained,,its a rocking movie and please take your kids also along with you,,nowadays very few films allow us to take our kids too,,Thank you Ra One team,,Its a pure entertainer...
Bollywood sounds good when it produces movies like My Name is Khan. The thing is bollywood can never ever produce movies like transformers , bicentennial man etc that give us that sci-fi charm. Its just because when it comes to sci-fi we dont have the writers who can "you know" .... "really think"
Note :- I am not a Movie freak .If Ra.one would have been a hollywood movie .Then its only u ppl will say wats a awesome movie and we indians cant do it .Grow up man Try accept change and appreciate Its our on indian movie .

In our country we generally love criticizing others, because it makes us feel better about our own inability to do anything worthwhile with our life. We also have a slave mentally, as right from our childhood we are told, our country is not good therefore, we must do go to overseas to have a better life. Dreaming big and trying to compete with our foreign masters is a big no no, so we take small steps and feel that yes we are making progress.
As an Indian I felt proud that we have started making sci-fi movies like Robot or Ra.one. It may not have the same quality but can we really compete with 100 million dollars productions from Hollywood? Could we have imagined 15 years ago that as audience we would have the chance to see movies from different genres in India! So, instead of being petty and hoping someone would fail in order for us to feel better about ourselves, we should take pride that such movies are being made in Indian cinema. We may not be much but we are getting there, just like our country.

robot was far better than ra1..in overall execution ..ra1 is a good step in a new direction but cannot be an excuse for a terrible outcome..problem is we do not have good writers and directors..and even those are forced to write rubbish
