SRK had to invest 150 crores for such a movie, and to get market in US, he made Akon sing songs, plus he wanted to attract south indian viewers so he put Rajni sir in a guest role...and more over the movie was released in Diwali holidays, where no other movie was in competition. Guys, if u invest 150 crores for a movie and you have to push urselves by doing all these gimmicks, ITS NOT WORTH IT. SRK is no more a superstar, and he knows this fact VERY WELL.
Whereas a movie like BODYGUARD with investment of 55 crores, and making 200 crores...thats what u call movie. Salman Khan doesnt need to be a superhero to be a superstar.
All above these, the climax scenes of R.A One is a time-waste, just like watching a video game:) Copied scenes from movies like Terminator, Iron Man, and Endiran (Robot). Guys, its not worth a watch.
I don't understand what people were expecting from the movie. We should never compare it with Avatar or MI or Batman or Spiderman. This movie is first of it's kind for us and one should believe definitely a leaf ahead, I haven't seen such effects before in a Hindi movie. I would agree to the fact the movie lacks on the script part. the first part of the movie is very nice and the second part hugely disappointing. Overall i would say a must watch and request you not to expect much and no comparisons please.

Why you don't want to compare ? Coz you can't compete ? No matter it is first or last time in Hindi movie, this not MI or Avatar.It's poor man's Avatar or MI.
srk looks like a RAT. and so the movie is named R-A-T-O-N-E Worst movie of the century. IPL ka paisa idhar lagake tax bacha raha hai. Watch for the next one D-O-N-K-E-Y
we Indian never appreciate the new start/beginnings. i am proud of this movie. when u go to watch movie, plz don't expect/compare with other. it can't be same. if it is same again people crip about it. so better enjoy, or shut your mouth like me now :-)
SRK can never do a Robot. Bad of him to make a sci-fi movie. Rightfully, critical acclaim for the movie has been just average.Enthiran/Robot had in its fold Rajnikanth, AR Rahman and Shankar. Not to forget the beautiful Aishwarya Rai. Ra.one has just SRK as one known star. Any other biggies or legends to boast of in Ra.one ?? Marketing alone cant win the hearts of audience. Content is King :)
