We really lost a maestro of Ghazals. His voice is immortal. May his soul rest in peace. We really missed one of the great man of singing community. We salutes to him.
Mr Jagjit Singh was probably the most gifted singers India ever had. But he was unfortunate. He never got the respect due to him that is showered unnecessarily on Paki Ghazal Singers. Secondly he had to live with the personal loss of his son's unfortunate death in an accident. I feel the pain Jagjit Singh had to go through. May the soul of this great Ghazal singer rest in peace.
My Heartfelt condolences to his family. One way he is lucky that he didn’t have to suffer the dreadful consequences of stroke/ brain hemorrhage indefinitely. The death in such a situation is a blessing in disguise for him and his family.
