If wifebeaters can get away with an apology and "temple visits", it sets a very wrong precedent.

Family pressures and a lack of financial independence will usually make sure that the woman remains a victim.

yes..if a leading actress did that.. or even his wife.. she would be ostracized. .. one can already see how nikita was treated by being banned
