Durga Puja in Delhi is the biggest mess by any community in Delhi. Bengali's and rest of the people who are visiting the pandals (specially in C R Park area) have no consideration what so ever for anybody else. They think it's their birth right to disrupt the traffic , bring the city (specially C R park and all it's surrounding areas to its knees). Not sure how Delhi police allows blunder of such a magnitude. At Anna hazare protests they wanted to limit people so that they could manage the crowd. Have the concerns of managing the crowd gone up in the air now? Torture on the lives of other should stop in the name of religion.

Who made the Durga Idol ??? It is the poor artisans or craftsmen who make it and some times do make it for a living and these puja are the only source of their income in the whole year. Do you want them to die as you do not like religion??

Please read his points correctly. Never does he say he hates religion. He only says that all the chaos that is caused by festivals like these should be minimized. Let people celebrate, let the poor artisans earn money, but do not let this disrupt the normal life. That\'s what his message implies. It\'s a pity that you have not understood and been unnecessarily aggresive.

Durga Puja is a grand festival and traffic jams are not very rare in any part of the world during festvities. If you feel it is torturing you just join them and enjoy...
