I am not sure it willdo justice tothe book and the sheer beauty of those words. Amina does not look of kashmiri origin from any angle. yes she was dark but the features are evidentally bengali.

Yeah, Rushdie's style is the main plus point of the book. How can you capture that in a film? Especially the magic realism.
