it's catchy and the fact that it's so local really makes people take stock that what's purely Indian is truly hipper than Hollywood.
though the white/black heart stuff was a bit .. ummmm... unpolitically correcct in a rising India.. .(black heart implies negativity with black... what is that all about???!!!!!!!!!!!! a bit of racism there guys???... ( on white being good and black being bad). and why is no one talking about this? that part was really strange to hear. really strange. thought the youths of today did not pay so much attention to color.
Shruti Hasan is simply stunningly beautiful.. one of the most beautiful women in India oh wow.. she has really transformed herself from just pretty to mainstream beautiful. And no, it's not her name.. no one even knew it was her watching youtube... but everyone is STUNNED by her beauty. Aishwarya is really pretty too - very classic Indian type features there.
We indians are going back to 100 years with this song becoming popular. We as society progressed and came out of racial difference, trying to come out of castism. With this song we are going back like the lyrics of the song "white skin girl and black skin boy and she dont like him because of black skin" is this a song we want to have. We are not white skinned people and it feeds the obsession of tamilians especially of the dusky skinned(which they call it fair skinned and it is called dusky by americans). is this what we want to become an international o*gy. We are becoming primitives with this song

what's disturbing is that 6 year olds are tuning the lyrics.
we need to teach the youth about color diveristy.. and color acceptance.
this song is about rejection due to his color.. right?:
if this young lady is rejecting him for his color, he needs to stand up and tell her to take a hike and find someone who will accept him just the way he is-- and not take to the bottle.

Where in the song did u hear "the black skin boy"?? He was just portraying his betrayal saying that even though she looks beautiful from outside but she is not that beautiful at her heart as she ditched him. Nobody is saying that the song is masterpiece. It is just trend and it will go on for while. Nobody is compelling anyone to listen to the song. And come on can u say that the rest of much hyped songs came out recently in any language was high in standards?? Please dont bring in untold racism and ll in this.
