In the age of santosh pandit and superhuman movies of mammootty and mohanlal, this is a commendable effort.
Saw the movie yesterday. I felt it was an average movie. The story has many cliche moments, but the scenes were well taken and actors did a good job (rare thing these days). I dont think it is worth a multiplex cinema ticket price, but i would pay 50rs for this movie. It has nice songs also. The only issue with the movie is you can guess what happens next. Still a nice effort.
Being preachy does not make a movie bad. Calling it a disaster was unwarranted, especially when u dont point out any flaws.

movies like this have been told many a times before. The entire screenplay is an utter flop. The story of the film starts in the last 15 mins, becuase of such screeplays disasters like Santosh Pandits are born...Heaven save malayalam film industry
Unfair to t core...the film deservs a better review than this..the writter seems naive and the review lacks any substance or neither is this a worthy analysis. Seems just a candid, shot narration of t screenplay(reminded me of my 8 yr old cousin telling a film story) .agree that the film by any means is not a classic but it is a reflection of a reality prevelant in in our society..and from a seasoned campaigner like kamal it is decent effort and i believe it acts as an eye opener to many.i would go with 4 stars out of five not for the quality of film making or its technicalities but for its soul of it...for what it stands for n t tears i saw in the eyes of the elderly lady who sat near me in t theater!
i dont know why this paresh dont like the preechy film. every good theme movie or something tells to the society he will comment as preachy wats wrong being a movie preachy? a movie should be preachy to the society. all stories tells something to the society. so actually wat u want from a movie palicha
