TN should not succumb to the cunning plan of Kerala
by Krt on Nov 30, 2011 09:14 PM  | Hide replies

If the dam has real safety issues, then let Kerala Government put the facts before the supreme court and win the case. The objective of Kerala Government is very clear. It wants to take control of the dam which is currently under the control of the TamilNadu Government. So, Kerala is trying it's best to break the agreement that gives full rights on the dam to TamilNadu. Supreme court has clearly stated that the agreement of TamilNadu holding control of the dam is valid for 999 years. With no strong technical facts, Kerala knows that it can not achieve it's mischievous goals by law. So, it has planned to break the agreement in a crooked way. It wants people to come out in mass support for it's crooked plan (named 'new dam construction'). By generated panic among the people by it's new movie, Kerala Government knows that massive protests will erupt in Kerala and that will create problems for Judges & other technical committees (that has spoken the truth that dam is safe only).

India giving green signal to the movie 'Dam 999' itself clarifies it's status quo on the issue and confirms about it's support to Kerala's "New Dam Construction" plan.
Even if Malayalees put a new agreement and say that same quantity water will be given to TamilNadu after constructing the new dam also, it can not be trusted. People who question the validity of a past agreement are likely to question the validity of the new agreement signed also (down the line).

Govt. Fears....
by babish vb on Nov 30, 2011 04:32 PM

The Tamil Nadu Govt. fears that their own people will be against govt., if they happens to see the disaster shown in the movie. That is the reason they have banned the movie.

Why he named as 999? Why he chosed Sep 2009? China's dam collapsed on 1970s.

Keralities are only running behind Kollywood. Now Tamils. None of the Malayalam films are screening in TN. But most of the Tamil films are released in Kerala. See reality and Talk. We know who rule us. Thanks for your advice.

Its not that Keralites are running behind Kollywood. Its only that we enjoy all kinds of movies be it Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi or English. and we are proud of that...

its not that Keralities are only running behind Kollywood. Its only that Keralites enjoy all kninds of movies may it be Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi or English...and another reason is we don't tax movies based on language. unlike Tamil nadu Tax is same for all language movies in Kerala...

"None of the Malayalam films are screening in TN"

By doing so, Tamilians lost the opportunity of seeing quality films, Tamialians are worth watching only dirty tamil masala movies

Hey stop!, although you have right to reply or comment, you shouldn't cross your limit. You should have control on your words.

Before you pointing your finger on Tamilans, make clean of your hand first. Do you think only you Keralates produce good quality films, if that is the case why you keralates are fond of screening Tamil films in your state more than your own films. Even you people are not ready to watch your Malayalam movies, how can you expect others to do.
I think you are not mature enough to comment on others and to differentiate which is good and bad.

Please atleast try to be genuine and learn some common-sense. I hope you will, you should. It will help you personally to get a good future. change your attitude.....
