Mr.Prithvi Raj,sorry to say that you are the only one responsible for all the criticism you are facing today. The problem with you is that many of your so called intelligent replies were contradictory with one another.Eg.You said Mammootty and Mohan Lal never called you up and appreciated, in another interview when
the same complaint was raised by Asif Ali, you said in his movies you liked only TRAFFIC and after seeing that you called the director and the writer. Absolutely agreeing with you here, but my point is Mammootty and Lal may have the same reason for not calling you.
You should also understand that displaying your intelligence is not the way of promoting your Film. Most of your critics are the young people ageing in their 20s and 30s..(No proof, from the internet war I assume).Actually these age group should be your strong supporters. What they hate is your pretension to be the most intelligent young man in Malayalam, today. You could have overcome these criticisms by your sheer TALENT as an ACTOR. But sorry to say that you are only an average in acting.Talentwise INDRAJIT is 10 times better than you.Fahad Fazil is also good. I must also say that you are very lucky to have such a beautiful face and presence mind. You are intelligent than most the above mentioned actors…the point is let others say that. You wanted to be the brand ambassador of Malayalam Movie ? Learn it from Amir Khan…you gave us Teja Bhai & Family after expressing this wish.Is that c

Hi Biju, it doesn't make any sense to compare Prithvi's comments on Lal and mammukka and Asif Ali's comment. Prithviraj is just being honest. You must understand people in person and accept diverse personalities, something which Keralites are yet to learn. We would be happy if Prithvi said something praising about the lead actors. His call the Asif's film director and script writer was correct in the sense the its them who made the film success. Asif is a promising actor i like him also. but Prithvi is in a different range. there are roles for each and prithvi never claimed himself as the best actor. What about mohan lal's film vamanapuram bus route? We malayalees suffered that disaster (i stopped going to malayalam movies after that!) and still respect him. With tejabhai, Prithvi tried to do something different atleast. Failures happen. But why everyone needs to pounce upon Prithvi alone. I cannot understand that. Everyone go through bad time - all actors had to. The problem is with us, we don't support diverse personalities: look at Tamil films, there are stalwarts like Kamalhaasan, Rajni, to Chimbu and Dhanush. Look at the journey of Vikram. Can you imagine such star rising up in Malayalam industry? Dileep had to resort to comic roles and most of his success are made with directors who are good with comedy. Prithvi is straight forward and sincere. I wish him all the best. You have your own space.

Hi Jagadeesh,Thanks for the reply.I would like to make it very clear that I am not endorsing many of the bad movies (Like to say "Not to be mentioned") of Mr.Lal & Mammootty,in the recent past...viz...sorry there are many....But at the same time I can`t forget some of the wonderful movies both these actors have given us in the past.I am not biased, otherwise I would not have mentioned Indrajit`s and Fahad Fazil`s names here.I know Mr.Prithvi is in the process of becoming a good actor. But right now, he has to stop his preaches through media. He always says "It was not my statement, it was my response to the journalist`s question".He has to understand that he is not the only person who is interviewed. We understand that his IQ Level is much higher than any of his contemporary actors. But when he himself, intentionally tries to display that, sorry it become arrogance only.Let people like you and me say that he is good-looking, intelligent, smart, though his acting still has to go a long way.Thanks.

Dilemma

I think not just Prithvi but everybody living in this society of ours are in a dilemma.

Do we tell the truth as it is or be diplomatic. It happens on a day to day basis in our lives.
We feel something else inside but we show something else outside.
If you look at the Tamil film actors, almost all of them talk very diplomatically and praise anybody about whom their opinion is sought.
What they are thinking inside is known only to themselves. Maybe they are sincere. But who knows?

Probably Prithvi wanted to be sincere in his assessment.

One other actor who has a similar kind of attitude is Prakash Raj. He tells what is in his heart. Very undiplomatic, could even be called arrogant.

But we are all helpless. Whether it is at our workplace, family or firends, we have to put up a diplomatic face and keep everybody happy.

Probably Prithvi needs to learn that. His space in Malayalam movies is limited. He has competition from Narain, Asif, Jayasurya etc.
Jayaram is safe with his family roles. Dilip with comedy.

Prithvi needs to be a hypocrite and praise everybody. Maybe then he would be loved.

What does that mean ? Small industry like Malayalam offered Vikram a stepping stone to become what he is now . He could still do roles in Malayalam , but the industry is poor to afford him . Its like you need big money to have him today , which is fine - the industry is big there .
