People listened it again to under stand what the is this ! and why it is so popular ! well what ever happened ! credit goes to young team. this is called luck. i remember hawa hawa and oye oye songs in late 80s. baseless but catchy. and people love that!
Looking at so much of noise on the net, I heard this song. But my feeling is it is not so impressive song. There is not much to talk about lyrics. and tune is simple & beat catchy. but not to the extent that it create so much of craze. Some people are really born with golden spoon where ever they put hand they struck with gold or Media has got the power to turn Dust in to Gold ?
With more than 2 mil views on YT and 1 mil shares on FB, this cannot be a promotional gimmick. Seems this is a definite rage. Good to see kids like Anirudh entering music field with a blast.

Pity if the next generation loses the idea of what a good song is supposed to be.As someone said mediocrity , shabbiness is the IN thing now. I am a TAMIL and I found the song totally unworthy of the publicity it gets.Gone are the days when lyricists would desist using words like murder , kill in their songs.

agree with you Naseer. However, your father or grandfather would have probably had the same feeling as you..for the songs of your generations (which you call good songs) :-)... we are an outdated set of folks..and we have to live with it :-)

I don't agree. I still feel the old songs are still much better than the songs today. I am 32. Not 60-65!
