SADMA ??????
by Sumit Deb on Nov 17, 2011 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

Though nobody dies in the end of SADma.. This movie has the saddest endings of all. I guess the only movie left me in tears towards the credits .. Kudos to the director and the leads Kamal Hassan and Sridevi.

foolish end. No human behaves like Sridevi behaved by seeing Kamal. Kamal action was so dramatised which put the essence of his earlier talent in to back burner. The end in Sadma was damp.

Yes. Balachander lived up to his perfection in his Ek Duje Keliaye which no one anticipated. In Omkara, Devgan was outstanding. Devgan has much potential than the three big idiots Khans but some how, crazy and foolish fans follow like sheep only the Khans. Devgan's performance in Gangajal was outstanding and in Singam, he shined with his toned body.

Next to Late Shivaji Ganesan, Kamal is the only Real Actor in Indian Cinema. But alas, he chose to act only in Tamil. If he would have been in Hindi belt, the Khans would not have entered the industry.

Now, Sridevi s reponse to an unknown man approaching her was absolutely normal. And proceedingly when Kamal realising that the girl hs nt recgnised him, pushes him to do all the histrionics in a condition he went thru to reach tht railwy station .. Which makes Sri to assume him as a mentally challenged, asking for food and she reacts accrodingly.. This s not foolish .. Or do u expect Sri to go down and help him explain things ..

Now the list is about sad endings .. Not abt the better actors. With due respect to Ajay Devgan, Kamal Hassan s talent, if only talent had to be measured for success theaters wud nt have started going to oblivion.

sorry. Either you are mistaken or does not know the yesteryears block busters. There were movies which run full houses for morethan two years at a stretch, in a single theatre.

Even DDLJ ran in one theatre for morethan one year in Mumbai.

Definitely when there is real story with good actors and acting, definitely there will be takers, atleast by sensible people.

By Theaters i meant the actual drama theaters where the real talent thrives and grows and not single screen theaters.

How could you miss Sadma! Its the only movie in which no one dies but the heroine will never remember the hero and the hero will never be able to find her again! One of a kind!
