Seeing this news item, one cannot help noticing that Rediff has not given any importance to Yesudas's 50 years of playback singing. Had he been related to Hindi cinema, he would have likely got prime coverage everywhere. The only singer who studied both carnatic and hindustani , 18 languages, more than 40, 000 thousand songs ( debatable by a few thousands)recorded as well as scores of carnatic recitals is not given due just becausee he does not sing songs in Hindi!! This is truly unfair.

Yes it is tru I agree with Biju rajan Rediff only look foward for hot news . The admitting of AIswarya rai to Hospital is totally a private affair of Bachan family and even Amitabh bachan is against this type of publicity. But the Yesuda;s 50 years of play back singing and Kamal hassans 50 years of film acting are totally ignored by rediffmail which is seems is anti SOuth Indian. Kannan krishnan
