are limited to that particular state be it tamil,bengali,marathi,telugu,punjabi etc. Some films are good also but they fail to reach out to the whole country as Bollywood does.
DO NOT COMPARE REGIONAL FILMS AND ACTORS WITH SOMEONE LIKE AMITABH WHO IS REPRESENTATIVE OF WHOLE COUNTRY RATHER THAN ANY PARTICULAR STATE.
If you like some regional actor, we have no objection but if you try to convince others to like him or appreciate him it just goes in vain.Amitabh is the greatest actor this country has ever produced,period.

bollywood movies are limited to only hindi audience..so dont think bollywood stars are national stars.. There are many regional mvoies which made impact and won many international awards.. u dont know anything about these becoz u r a frog in well and watch only bollywood crap movies.. till now india's costliest movie ever produced in a regional movie endhiran and india's highest paid actor,director,music director all belong to regional movies.. and u say bollywood is national... funny FIRST U DONT COMPARE SOME BINANI CEMENT AND NAVRATHAN OIL SALESMAN WITH SUPERSTARS..

Hindi audience are the majority of the country..AND THEY ARE NOT "LIMITED" by any means..REGIONAL SUPERSTARS do some funny acts which is joke of the nation,and all their movie scenes are stupid.
Enthiran is crap film, see PAA,BLACK,KHAKEE and you less-educated fellow will also learn what is called acting.
REGIONAL SUPERSTARS have become famous in their own state ,that too by cpoying Big B's hit films starting from DEEWAR to HUM.
But a rotten rat like you will only eat the grains from the drain.

You go to any city in India starting from Delhi to Chennai you will find Bollywwod movies playing in theatres,but the same is not true for regional films.
