If full of fools.. No actor can win national award. AB is just hype.. He achieved this status as there was no competition.. he is not natural actor. We have real actors in South india. Mohanlal, Kamal Hasan and Mamooty are true actors. You people are dumb m0r0ns and not ready to accept the truth..

Films are made for entertainment and nothing else, whether it's bollywood or hollywood or tollywood. There are a fair share of good and bad films in every industry. well, I hate to disagree. See, the perspective is beyond acting here. Who is Mohanlal? Some of these guys are great actors but their market dominance is negligible simply because the dominance of the language they make movies in is not that great. Its a simple mathematical fact, if you don't like it, sorry. Now, Amitabh and SRK catered to a time and to an audience that doesn't need extraordinary acting skills. Rajnikanth in his latest movie was horrible but he danced with Aishwarya and did stunts and people loved him. I do disagree with you that Amitabh is an ordinary actor, I think he is a great actor but even if he is not, he judged the pulse of his audience and gave them what they wanted. Or else, there would be 100 Amitabhs and Rajnikanths. But there aint. So, you may be right in the logic you are using but does it translate into more money at the bank, does it matter? and whose movie will I spend my hard earned money on? The audience has spoken

1. I find anupam kher highly versatile and great actor...he has done roles in all possible shades...AB is peanuts in front of him.
2. I have seen Kamal Hasan's work, he is great however I found him little overrated, may be he suits well for regional language. I heard lot of good name of Mohanlal, I will have to see his cinema to comment anything on it.
3. Mostly all the side actors, like actors from movies such as lagaan, swades, wednesday, shaurya, peepli live, even fass gaya re obama, mirch, i hate luv storys etc etc etc (from older movies too) all are always better then the mainstream poster actors.

When a box office result comes out, the paparazzi do not flare their cameras at a Bhojpuri actor, its money my friend, I do not understand this but there are so many smart people writing comments at rediff from all over the world, muslims showing how they are great and khans are the best, southies promoting their breed of actors and taking cheap shots at bollywood actors, religious propaganda is also prevelant on rediff daily but most people dont seem to get a simple point, its all about the money.
