Hi Mallu, Bollywood is more about style than acting. But there are some v good actors around like Ajay Devgan,Saif Khan,Aamir,SRK(in some movies),Ranbir(Raajneeti),Hrithik. Also Kajol,Juhi,Priyanka,Madhuri,Tabu have been very good

And why are you so confident that SRK/Aamir/AK can't win National Awards? Saif,Anil Kapoor,Arjun Rampal,Sunny Deol,Nana Patekhar have won in the past.SRK/Aamir could win too.

Also,these Bollywood stars do commercial films, not depressiing art movies like mallu stars.if they start doing such art movies like Adaminte makan Abu types, they can win.esp Aamir,Anil,Saif but the problem is Bolly stars look too good to play very poor

I forgot to include Anil Kapoor,Shabana,Naseer,Om Puri,Rahul Bose,Sanjay Suri among good actors. Another thing is all these stars encourage fitness, not pot belly like Mammotty and Mohanlal(who can hardly move).Neither they have mouth tons of English dialogues in poor accent like Suresh Gopi.

Mohanlal and Mammootty gave very good performances and films in 1980s and early 1990s but they have been largely big embarassment lately. Its better to watch an elephant.Even that looks fitter than Mohanlal.Even aged Om Puri and Naseer and Amitabh have better bodies.Mohanlal could at least learn from Jayaram to keep fit.

we are talking about acting skill not body building I also a fitness lover and bollywood stars r my role models ther. but whn it comes to acting u cannt compare legends mohan lal , kamal or mammotty with poor bollywood stars. SRK , Salman and Aamir never can win national award. they r just models. Even AB was lucky to get 3 national award, all 3 times he had a close final round contest with Mohan lal and Mammotty just check history
Now a days movies are carrying funny names. Half hindi and half english some times, names like cjoklate, popcorn etc. That is why most movies are flopped. Because name shall be such a type that it should give idea about movie. Melodious, attractive name will be added advantage. But our young generation of directors/producers coppy western style. They forget that in their country these GORA people treate Indians like third grade people and like D*g. I am from Eorope but I regret why am I here. SO stick to Indian theme, the movies will be superhit like Sholey, Johny mera Naam etc.
