Did you take any training in music?

As a child, yes. I took classes from a Hindustani classical singer. I picked up the harmonium from him. But I got bored soon.

bored from whar ? the harmonium? why its not as cool as the guitar? or u cant get that rocker image if u play the harmonium?

From my experience, playing the harmonium is rather boring; playing a string instrument would be more fun.

Anyway, thankfully I won't have to play the harmonium when I perform.

what dou mean by fun? the harmonium is base of all classical learning, as our instruments like veena, sitar ,

there are many artistes who play harmonium in concerts, like ar rahman , hariharan,

if they dont find it boring, then whoever finds it less fun to play is simply fooling himself or others

just because the western people popularised the string instrument they are more fun?
