Not only KB a great drector but also a socially responsible person, each one of his movies has a message towards the society. A very unconventional director(in those days) who even made a comedian(Thai Nagesh) as a leading actor and made that movie a great hit. KB truly deserves this highest honour.

Aval oruthodarkathai wasnot the first film for rajinikanth. he never starred in it. it was apoorvaragangal. 2.the article gives an impression that KB came to feild with aval oruthodarkathai...in 1974 and doe not talk about his great works like iru kodugal, neerkumizhi punnagai,etc etc...... 3. He was at his best with comedy movies like bama vijayam, thillumullu etc. With this article No honour is done to KB . his image is being sliced down . rediff is as ausal half baked with its infromation

Add to that list Unnal mudiyum thambi and Ethir neechal (nagesh). 1 veedu 2 vaasal was not worth the mention though.
if U see there were very good family oriented films with good stories and good messages. Right now all movies in Tamil are a big crap. All movies and serials of KB were good entertaining, but right now no such are coming. We hope in the future we see nice movies of KB and revive good films in Tamil.
