And that problem lies between his legs.. On average, it's quite small, but it's very difficult for him to control it.. Anything is likely to set him off - and then you see the average Indian male trying to "make it" with almost anything that moves.. This creature cannot control his impulses - similar to an animal.. No wait, animals do have some intelligence - the average Indian male does not, because his brain resides between his legs.. If you were to remove this "thing" between the average Indian male's legs, then all would be well - you would not need any censorship because then this sub-animal species would be able to control himself. So, you solve a law-and-order problem and a over-population problem in one go...

Please move to Pakistan, especially if you hate Indians that much.

Quite funny :-) True, there are many of us Indians who think from the wrong place.

It is not the values of land of kamasutra - it is survival instinct after being hostage to taliban for 1000 years. " Beti - cover your ankles before taliban see you " type of logic.
Censor board is a vestige of the socialism era. It has to be scrapped and reconstituted just to rate the film/TV series. There should be no power with any board of certification to censor. If you think you feel offended do not watch it, make sure your sons and daughters don't watch it. You cannot force it up on the country what you feel as morally right or wrong.
Do you want the censor board to be consistent and be strict on all films ? Or do you want to have a free ride with all abuses and adult scenes in movies ? Your article, seems to dodge between both of the above points. You will have to take one side. The westerners have adult scenes in their movies, but at the same time, they have a very tight control on who watches it. The kids parents make sure they watch clean stuff. Which is not the case here, parents don't bother to see what their kid is watching. Even if censor does give some leverage, there are human right activists and other political parties ready to knock on your door. I believe censor board doesn't care about the words but it cares about what context its being used.
I can understand your frustration which you omitted here on Rediff and must be feeling relaxed!
By the way, The world is changing, yes I know but why don't you are adapting the change? Look at the movies like Dabaang, 3 Idiots, etc...endless list... and make a better movie than that!

This column is not for you my friend.
You did not get the basic essence of the article at all.
The question is not to make a "clean" film, the question is the freedomt o express and show whatever I want to, and not having a big daddy to mute/delete scenes from my film.
If someone does not like it, he may not watch it, walk out of theatres etc, but not cut scenes out of my creativity.
It is like tearing or shaping my face because you dont' like it, or someone might feel afraid looking at it.
