Whatever Ramya saying is correct. Kannada Film Industry is like that only. They use "Kannada" sentiment wherever they need and try to make money out of it.
ladies and hapless guys are soft targets in film industry... bollywood, telugu, tamil, kannada.. everywhere ... but... everyone thinks the heroine or the girls do it for publicity.... look at madhur bhandarkar story?? these people producers, directors, couching casts.. should be dealt very seriously. there should be transperancy in verything they do, there should b a body to look after all these things.

You mean to say there are no women living a dignified complete life in India other than doing acting, or even high profile jobs? Its only that they choose to do so, otherwise the world is large enough. Secondly, we completely understand how these kannada film industry people are making money. First they say that they want subsidy for nourishing Kannada, and they want protection from other non-kannada movie releases, and not to end here, the worst is that most of the kannada movie titles are in English/or they use slang words of Hindi, they promoter violence, glorify goondas, and do all anti-social activities, and are immune to law, because some ex-CM's also produce such movies that are cheap. So nasty are these fellows. Can they face the true Kannadigas for destroying our culture while they go overseas and exotic locations to shoot vulgarly dressed songs. We would then be identified as Kannadigas by foreign nationals by these songs and movies. Hell with such antisocial elements. When questioned they tell that they want to bring out a moral story in peoples mind on such bad acts, but why bring such bad acts at first. Gone are the days when Dr.Raj's SUPER DUPER SathyaHarishchandra was screened, with such values carried in the character. Now we see the Loose mada or some nonsense characters being glorified. We will be happy to see a true dipiction of a rural boy/man with a similar face on screen, would definitely be interesting, but these loose characters defame our language

May be, Obama and US are not important for you, but for rest of India think about US and Obama :) Indians think more of Obama than the Indian president, prathiba bottle.
It is very sad incident that should not happened to top star Ramya. Top class heroines themselves are harassed by produces what about 2nd heroines !! Oh god save Kannada industry from low class producers !!
