As usual a quibble. It is disappointing to see only mainstream Hollywood movies on the list.
One of the most eagerly awaited animated movies this year should surely be Kon's The Dreaming Machine. Plus there is the veteran Takahata's The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter which is due this year.
Thankfully, the disastrous showing of Mars Needs Moms should finally get Zemeckis to stop making the bland emotionless "animated" movies based on motion capture. Hope Spielberg and Peter Jackson are not caught on the wrong foot by using similar technology.
