Watched Christian Brothers. It is an entertainer, and the performances are good, but had a few cliches, which could have been avoided. 1) Does Mohanlal need an introduction sequence like in Tamil movies? What was that stupidity of raging fires and volcano in the background when he is introduced? 2) Land grabbing is bad. It is shown that a village officer is killed for refusing to hand over the documents. Really??? Is it that simple? 3) Why do filmmakers think that the audience likes "dishoom-dishoom" and not a gunfight? why should the hero throw away the gun and fight with his fists ??? come on, the audience has grown up, now it is upto the filmmakers to do so. 4) Is this supposed to be a comedy? what is the need of Suraj Venjaramoodu, when Dileep can handle comedy better than most full-time comedians? 5) Is Lakshmi Gopalaswami's character so dumb, that she doesn't complain against her husband to her father, brothers or sister??? or she was denied a phone? in this era of abundant connectivity??? 6) Cant they think of a bit more serious roles for the leading ladies? Why are heroines needed in a movie after all? 7) Can anyone become an informer-negotiator-underworld don overnight? just after a wrongful case slapped on him? What exactly is Christy's job, by the way? 20-20 was an one off venture. Joshi"y" should forget it and move on to better things. He is one of the most talented action directors of Malayalam

Some more scenes to add upon which are quite unacceptable even from any virgin directors..1)The flash back scene from lal when he is trying hard to save the kidnapped gal who is shown as being chased by villain for a rape attempt..this falsh back lasted for pretty long time and handled so badly..Somever they had to show these scenes and shown at the very wrong place...2)Why lal and dileep is peeping thru the window to get a glance of the bridegroom..Are they girls(as we see in films atleast) who doesnt want show themselves at guests...so ametuarish handling of eh scene..then lal comes to the groom walking like small boy or even girl..no words..3)the perfectly misplaced sayyavo song which pathetically choreographed too..4)Mr Andrews aka Karim lal walk towards dileep when he was down on the floor badly smashed by Goondas asks him..Are u christies brother ..then a yes from dileep and andrew began to fight the Goondas..It felt liek am watchin Jayan -naseer era of movie wheren they use to greet each other when they meet long lost ons 4)why do writer duo want to hav love story for all..especially the one they kept for Lal is bad of em all which includes the flashback and song sequence..The list goes endless..cant accept these are done by Joshy..Laletta save ur rest filmy days for better movies than to act in anythin that comes your way..

@Shivaji, it is an entertaining movie. If we start looking for logics behind every scene then we won't find any movie good enough. At least there are many scenes which justifies the actions of each actors which is very rare now in movies [Like how Kavya got kidnapped, why Dileep kills Suresh Krishna, how sarathkumar reaches Lal's house etc]. My view is it is enjoyable movie, time-pass, though there is less comic content, and less logic..All actors given enough space and all of them performed really well. Not for any debate..
Stupid movie. Just an average entertainer. Not as good as 2020. Just some cut and paste from old movies and roping in on the multi starrer platform. I dont understand why such an immensely talented actor like mohanlal acts in such crap. he should be more selective like mammootty these days. i am not a fan of mammootty- movies like pokkiriraja were crap. But he is more selective. They should make more movies like pranjiyetttan, ocktail, taffic etc.

i agree with u. It is a cut and paste of 2020 when i posted my opinion on this there were many wolves and piranhas who were trying to kill me. I am not a fan of Mammooty or Mohanlal but just a person watches good movies. At least there are sensible people like u

No offence to any of the actors in the movie. All are great actors, but i wish to express my honest openion about the movie. This movie as whole is pathetic and hopeless. The great actors like Mohan Lal and Suresh Gopi should be more selective. Nothing new in this movie looks like mixture of so many old Malayalam movies....It was really painful to pass 2.30 hours in the theatre by watching this movie.
I was happy to see few good movies recently release in Malayalam like, Anwar, Passenger, Arjunan Sakhsi etc.... Looks like its the time for senior actors to do some roles which suits to them...Not again with romantic heros...its almost unbearable....Once again repeating no offense to any of these great actors

Anwar,Arjunan Sakshi are good movies.. ????..Anwar is one of the biggest blunders to come out last year..Dont support christain Brothers..But dont tell blunders like this..

frankly speaking, i didn't find anwar and arjunana sakshi bad. many ppl don't like prithviraj... that's okay... but these were okay kind of movies, not bad.

Here comes another dud from our best director and great actors..all recent movies were such a let down for me rite from makeup man..arjuan sakshi now the dad of all of them..thats vat christian brother all baout..The movie at its worst form with 10 year old 100 times scnene routine scenes and dialogue..only one can laugh at our actors but cant cheer fo them...i was disppointed after seeing Arjunan but now it seems far better delivery than CB..The great lalettan is no wer in his best times..Laletta u gotta be very choosy to get away from such duds...The movie is worth just a Star for its ensemble 'nothin to do' cast!!
CB is a watchable film.This film may be super hit because it is the bigget multi star film after 20 20.so people will enthusiastically watch this film.But this is not a good sensible movie.Good sensible movie in the past 5 years is Pranchiyettan and the saint
