actually many not all north indians are vedic aryans. people of aryan race are spread over many countries (most middle east) but also they migrated northern parts of india ages ago. After that a lot racial mixing occured but still aryan decendency can be seen in physical traits such as complexion,height, bone structure eye color etc. in the people residing in the northern parts of India
