I doubt anybody not rasising the same kind of question when Hema malini did Seeta or Geeta. Whether she could replace a top heroine during those days? Katrina has been accepted by Bollywood magnificantly. She has that fresh & gorgeous touch which Hema Malini used to have during her younger days.
Katrina is today's No.1 heroine,so why can't she pull off a Hema malini.

Hema is Hema, nobody can match her talent.. Can this girl called Katrina act? forget acting she cant even speak hindi.. Can she carry entire movie on her shoulder? No.. Moreover, Akshay Kumar is casted opp her who is giving flop after flop.. magic of this pair will not work.. what will be his market value once remake is over? no producer will touch it..

Nowadays actors speak Hinglish. Nobody expects all actors to speak perfect hindi. Her bubbly attitude suits her role for Geeta & after watching her in Rajneeti one can say that she can even play a Seeta

Seeta aur Geeta too was a multistarrer, with the then top heroes Dharmendra & Sanjeev Kumar in it. I doubt Hema malini would've been able to make it a hit without the support of these big actors.

Nowadays dialogue delivery isn't the factor. You are talking about case 30 & 40 years back. Think of these days today, Hema malini's big dialogue delivery won't win her audiences which Katrina has under her belt.

But presence of Dharam & Sanjeev gave that edge to the movie. Else Hema shown 100% without these big stars would'nt have made the movie a hit.

And I agree that in Hindi movies they should speak propoer hindi and also Dialogue delivery matters a lot.. They are not doing any hollywood remake..

Agree with you, older actresses had a sense of beauty and presence with looks and figures as well. They were more charming and what more lookSexier any day.
