Whenever a photo is published on rediff spotted We get comments on 1.If she's an actress,few dirty comments 2.If a north indian actor,then his rivals fans commenting 3.if a south indian actor,then north-south fight 4.Comments on the poor guy/girl who made the mistake of sending their photo... 5.Few idiots commented that the missing hand is caressing somewhere else(keep up ur dirty thoughts,bro) 6.One jobless fella making silly poems which make me puke 7.Age-old tasteless joke by wrongly identifying the stars
I wish Rediff could stop the comments section as it only discourages people from posting photos.. had it been me,I'd never post my photo and get remarks in a public forum from guys who spend their quality time in callcenters/software industry by commenting on others

Very well said. Sort of sums up everything the rediff comment quality is about. A couple of such 'rockstars' have made negative comments on your comment too. Losers galore !
If like the foreign press the comments were moderated we would get excellent debates. But rediff probably can't afford the salary for a few good moderators

Try dawn-the pakistani newspaper...Eventhough a lot of pakistanis and indians comment there...u can see the amount of respect they show to each other and discuss sensibly without foul-mouthing each other...
Rediff do not moderate and allow u guys to hatemonger each other so that it'll generate more comments which leads to more hits for the site and in turn more revenue from ads...
mr.Suppandi-I'm sure u alone would have helped more than 1000hits by ur constant commenting on all forums...
