Do we have a confirmation, that "many tried to break" into Bollywood? Or is it just a fantasy by a stupid rediff editor who hates the superior South Indian film industry? Why do cheap South films gets dubbed in Hindi TV? Hahahahahaa

Good south movies get remade into hindi, while bad south movies get dubbed for hindi tv channels.
