They have NOT been CONVICTED! There is a difference between an arrest and using the justice system to get away scot free. Just keep watching. Raja, Kalmadi, Radia etc. will ALL be released without being convicted!

Prakash raj playing Marathi character in the movie... And that dialogue is for Prakash Raj(Villain of the movie) and not the people. Read the lines carefully. Both Prakash Raj and Rohit Shetty are Kannadigas... How can you say that they will do something like that to their own people? Brother grow up

@ramesh indalkar.Ok I agree with you but why prakash raj has mentioned the name Karnataka in his dialogues though he is playing as a maratha character?

@Chandran, the movie is happening in Goa surrounded by Maharashtra and Karnataka. lot of marathi people stay in belgaum, dharwad, Nipani. I have not heard that dialogue. but it is mentioned as "he will bring 1000 men from karanatak border" does it mean that he will bring 1000 men from karnataka? Even in Kannada movie, villans(bad mans) will be called with slangs.. does it mean that they are insulting kannadiga? No yaar.. Prakajraj is playing marathi character.. so shall we say he is insulting marathi people? No.. It is a movie. No one will say good words for bad people. Even in real life. That dialogue is removed now, they have appologized. Enjoy movie brother.

yes Santosh, I agree with what Ramesh Indalkar said (of course, separately, I had presumed Rohit Shetty to be a Marathi, so it was a pleasant surprise for me to know he is a Kannadiga). Pls. don't be emotive about the movie. The story, characters, their sentiments all coming in movies are completely imaginary or fictional. I even include or club religious characters, for me a Ram in a movie is as false as a Raavan is. One being good and other being bad is one and the same for me, which is nothing but acting (out a character). thats all.
The so called leaders of this country are trampling on the citizens, looting the country everyday making a mockery of democracy. We are not bothered... We have serious problems plaguing our country like Terrorism, Corruption, Bad roads,Black money..but we are not bothered. What bothers us some dialogue in some movie which we intepret as insult to us. Dear Kannadigas (I am also one), we need to feel insulted due the bigger reasons rather than one filmy dialogue. Let us look at the bigger picture of our state, country, leaders rather than getting swayed away with irrelevant and meaningless issues...

No Friend. Pl raise your voice against much serious & relevant issues which are hitting you everyday.
I don't think the dialogue is offensive to Kannadigas. The movie is happening in goa, both the characters are marathi. In north karnataka border area lot of marathis are staying. As Rohit Shetty is kanadiga i don't think he will do anything like that. May be he could have changed the dialogue like "just one Maratha like him is enough to you". In movies villains/bad people are always called as dogs.. remember Dharam Paji saying 'kute kamine'. Here also the hero is calling dog to villain... Anyway they have made appology. The issue should be stopped here.

Ramesh, instead of playing to the gallery by uttering a Maratha (or a non-Maratha centric dialogue), Rohit Shetty could have bettered the script that "just one man (or person) like him is enough" (to the villain or people like him), instead of saying one Maratha or Madrasi.(That is because movies, especially Hindi movies are meant for not just audiences in India understanding Hindi, but across the world, what do you say?) That would have been enough.
