they keep coming up with these readers choices... without any real basis...when was the poll taken... what were criterias for films in the list... were readers just asked to write their 10 choices...

Irrespective of anything, Bobby Deol had three good action movies. They are Soldier, Gupt and Bicchhoo.
this list is good and to each his own i wanna make amention that Ghayal indeed is one of the greatest male performances sunny pa ji just stuns you with his performance coming to action once again Kaante is forgotten in my mind One of worlds great movies that is forgotten time and again and never gets its due

Ajay devgan debut phool or kaante was also trendsetter of stunts and new defination for action film
Satya should have been listed higher on the list because it had a realistic story to go along with the action scenes in the movie. But most actions scenes in Hindi cinema is copied from Hong Kong movies, so if you enjoy watching action movies than why not just watch from the original source!!! Donnie yen, Jet li etc.
There have been action movies made in Bollywood and there will be made......but none can even come close to Ghayal, forget about beating it...... I am really happy to see my all time favourite movie at the top of this list.... Thanks to all the people who voted for Ghayal..... and congrats Sunny bhaji....
