1) remake of all hari movies as someone pointed out correctly in the comments
2) Dhanush is completely misfit for this action packed movie reminded me of his Sullan days
3) Ganja Karappu comedy is crap ( Prakash Raj's comedy is 100 times better than his). There is a day light b/w Sathanam and other comedians
4) Devi Sri Prasad..big let down..all songs sound like a telugu movie song and give a feel that we have already heard it in his previous movies
5) too long movie..becomes unbearable post interval
seen today, gud time pass movie, dhanush is excellent acting make you to sit, if u want a time pass movie then go for vengai, its always a tough competition between critics review and ordinary people review. i live in a village close to madurai. everybody enjoyed the film especially ladies.. it seems dhanush getting popular amoung ladies. i would say dont listen to critics review, i would say if any movie make u relax and enjoy, then that is an gud movie. then vengai is worth a watch.

i challenge, this guy is some distributor or producer relative. i thought of buying the ticket in black. to my surprise the second-day (friday), the theaters are empty. the big mistake of the director is misreading the audiance. the movie is completely a remake of his own tamil movies. he thinks, bringing camera angle from top of the building and speeding down the camera will make the movie interesting. but it is tedious and boring.

obama close your mouth this movie is screened for more theatre thus why you say like that. still movie collect nearly 90 lakhs rs in 4 days
This film might very well become a box office hit for our people love and support mindless run-of-the-mill films (even though they will have seen them a thousand times before) rather than some fresh innovative out-of-the-box productions, i.e. Aaranya Kaandam! Sad state...
watch it if you like fast paced action movies, same story, nothing new at all. Hari has just rehashed his own movies. The film looks a bit like "sandaikozhi", bit like "thamirabjarani", romance reminds me of "Aaru". Nothing new, same old thing film after film. It's just a strict time pass. it's not as bad as the reviews project. This is Hari's terrain, you can love it or hate it. But still bet it's gonna be another hit for dhanush...
Same old Hari film... If you have seen Singham, Saamy, Tamizh etc. etc., then Venghai is just a rehash of all those - not to foget the resemblance to the age old MGR/ Rajini masala films! Agree with the review that Ganja Karuppu has to improve big time if he wants to strike it big in Kwood... and Prakash Raj - his acting is good but you have already seen it in Ghilli, Singham etc. etc. Raj Kiran is one good factor of the movie and so is Dhanush (well I mean he isn't bad!) Tammu is ok- at least something where she can perform...All in all a movie for the B and c centres but for the mainstream guys - stay away coz Venghai has nothing new to offer...

who is A center people. do u mean, those who sit in I class, or the soft-ware engineers or those who live in Chennai. A or B or C.. all are same as for as TN is concerned. in TN, the difference between Chennai and rest of TN is not much, unlike the KA-bangalore and AP-hyderabad.

Why the hell this Navneeth is poking his nose everywhere to insult his fellow people by dividing region. Why did his family give a lunatic man to world? I feel sorry for his family.
