Unlike most other film critics who seem to have a cargo-cult manifesto of talking without gaps and forming an opinion based on their vast expertise, Raja Sen is an objective critic who provides an honest review suffering fools miserably.
If you do not have enough time to decipher what he has said here in a short review, you have no right to criticize his effort. Be specific if you need to criticize. Cow manure does not kill roses. It helps them bloom
The movie is not at all worth watching. First it is inspired by korein flick, it has very slow plot, story is different but executed awfully,Emaran hasmi acting as not expected is horrrible, Jacqueline has done a good job but his role is lacking gravity, the motive nd reason of serial killer performing succession of killing is not conveyed properly, dere r no great dialouges which can be taken outside the hall, disarranged scene synchronization and showing of unnecessary brutality are responsible for making this movie a must not watch.
Movie is based on the Chaser as everybody knows here...but the best part and worst part of the movie is that it sticks to the original plot so much so that though it retains the thrill element, I am sad at nothing being made original nowadays in bollywood. I have seen the Chaser at least 4 times...I love it because it is brilliant...Murder 2 doesnt ruin it wholly...it makes it gruesome and murkier, but less substance and laughable dialogue makes this an average remake of the original. One word, Prashant ups the ante for villainous roles...seriously diabolical. Rating:3/5
Raja - I do not tend to agree with your comments. Mallika sherawat nor any actress can decide the fate of the film. Good storyline & the script can actually make up for the absence of heavy studed star cast and i think Imran hasmi and Jacqueline fernandes and other co-stars have blended in this script perfectly. Yes i do agree some of my friends who have posted their comments on this blog i think you need to see this movie again and have a closer perhaps you may be able to change your perception. Anyways would like to commend the performance of imran Hashmi which obviously stood out.

Yes one thing i missed in my comments. A lot of film experts and critics have slammed the movie for being adapted from a Korean thriller Chaser. Frankly speakling being a bollywood fan it does not matter as an audience as long the script & storyline is new and has substance.
Fullto time pass. But it should not be called as Murder 2 as the same was totally on different concept and touchie. Villian role is superb and he will scare u.
