Kannada filmstar Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan should have been given best actor or life time award. He had done good acting in his last film Aptharakshaka and had completed 200 films.
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Prasthanam inspired by Road to perdition, Gamyam inspired by motorcycle dairies and Vedam is similar to CRASH or amerros perros. Allu arjun and Sweety win top awards ? Now that is a tragedy. The fact if the matter is that 1 in 500 movies is worth the price of admission. No wonder that Telugu films have NEVER EVR won a national award for BEST PICTURE.

It has become fashion for people to comment on things they dont know.Amores perros is a mexican film which has no resemblance to vedam except for screenplay format.This format has also been used by maniratnam in yuava. whats wrong with inspiration? Pessimists always look at half empty glass!
Vedam is a kind of movie which everyone would cherish for a long long time. I have seen people clapping during the end titles in the Fame cinemas, Bangalore. Its a nice movie made on human values. Hatsoff to Krishh and the team.
