tingu khan rode success of sunny deol films many times... but this time deols outsmart him by releasing their movies mostly on single screens where a film business can not be manipulated... tingu khan was thinking ypd will release mostly in multiplexes and shameless multiplex owners will report ypd business as that of dhobi ghat the way they do most of the time with deols hit movies...
is a free dalal for khans... thats why a disater called dhobi ghat is reported as steady and a hit ypd is average for this lowlife shameless agaent for khans...
was made by the film. they dont care if movie was entertaining or meaningful.
if return on money invested really matters then they should look at soft core porn industry where really really low budget badly shot films made 5000-10000% return on money invested as compared to some of the "hits" which barely recovered investment or made measly 10-20% profit

The film fell on Monday but its weekday business was still decent as it grossed 4.50 crore nett on weekdays thanks to nearly 1.75 crore nett on holiday Wednesday. The film has crashed badly on its 8th day with collections down 85-90% from day one. The film may not even hit the 15 crore nett mark and is probably the first film from from Aamir Khan Productions which has been rejected outright by paying public."

it was steady... steady being a disater that is... dg is for elite class dhobis only...
You may want to comment on my lack of standards but I just loved YPD to bits. Great movie Sunny, Dharam , Anupam Kher, Mukul Dev and the Poli character just rocked! Bobby and others were fine too, except for some sad songs everything else was fine. Loved the action and Sunny's final roar.. catch this movie in theatres!!!
what nonsense YPD is hit.... budget is 20-24 crores collected 49.50 crores already now tell me that be average???????? The film is full fledged 'HIT' film of 2011, Jessica.... is 'SEMI-HIT'

Whereas Dhobi Ghat did decent business in its first week but from 8th day(2nd Friday) the dropped by 80% from its first day collection. The film will find tough to cross 20 crore mark, it is good if it does.

Even Tees Maar Khan is 'SEMI-HIT' due to huge opening in its first weekend, the film had recovered all its money in its first weekend itself. Though the collection was low from first Monday but still it managed to make SEMI-HIT business.
