From a gay parent
by Becky Philo on Jan 18, 2011 09:29 PM  | Hide replies

My kids were raised without hate and bigotry and didn't hang with kids that were. Both of mine were happy, well adjusted kids that went on to be professionals. Each with a child of thier own, both are straight. Kids will always find a reason to pick on others. Kids need GOOD parents, and who they sleep with matters not. I know a lot of messed up people that had straight parents. It's about love and guidence. Now days it isn't as unusual. I remember one of my daughters friends saying *Cool!* when she found out. Statistically children of gays do very well.

Congratulations!! No use explaining to ignorant idiots, living in dysfunctional families. They only like to pick on others because they have no life, or thier dad beat them as child, or beat thier mother or they lived in a loveless home, where money was the only driving force, maybe their grandma trotuted thier motehres for dowry or they threw out hier parents at retirement..who knows they are petty , small minded people. You are happy and they canot fathom that becuase they are not!!

just to live your lifestyle, you're spoiling the life of the young kid.
gay lifestyle for both men and women could be slightly altered while growing up (by their parents). this is nonsense!!!
showing off the son of 2 men is just tooooo creepy!!!

perfect reply!! I have no problems with gays but the problem is why do you adopt a child and give the poor child an unnatural life style! The poor chap can't even choose!

oh yea as opposed to an orphan being in the street and being abused, raped or dying of hunger.
So a rich, loving gay person should not adopt a oprhan or abused child but let them suffer.
Way to ritu mehra

May be these g** parents are happy but what about the child? As he grows up,his friends/classmates will ask..."how come your mommy is a man" and such teasing.

She already has ten. Do you want an eleventh (surrogate) one with her?

Two Daddies

If it were two women who had 'bore' a child the abhorrence may have been a lot less but why should we feel so in the first place? Let us give them the benefit of doubt and wait and watch just how they bring up the child.

Although, I have two reservations, primarily related to their age and health to be able to raise a kid who is likely to be a handful for a couple of aging old guys!
