No it is absolutely wrong now. When MGR was ther as the hero, he had the followers/fans from the illiterate/ LIG sectors. Educated used to admire Shivaji Ganesan and others. Now it is fully changed. Excepting a small percentage of the LIG all others are well educated/elite novices.
Siruthai (Remake of Telugu movie vikramarkudu) and Kavalan (Remake of Malayalam movie Bodyguard) may be going to be hits.But is this type of Remake trend to be continued in Tamil film industry?
siruthai is a blatant scene by scene copy of telugu blockbuster"vikramarkudu".see vijay's kavalan is also a remake, but the screenplay is totally different, taking vijay's larger than life persona into consideration.plus songs are siruthai have flopped whereas kavalan songs have been a rage allover.

Siruthai Movie already hit..when coming to songs, aadukalam is best ..Dai remake pathilaam neenga paesakudathu..Remake is banned means, then think what about your vijay? no good directors will go to Vijay and even if the go, he will ask to change the script to make it worse..anyway all the best for Kavalan..

dei SURA, just shush it. Who said Kaavalan songs are a rage?? Have you loooked at the sales in chennai?? Siruthai, Aadukalam and Kanden have more audio sales than Kaavalan!!
Have you seen Pokkiri? Scene-by-scene copy, INCLUDING all of vijay's expressions (only vadivelu's comedy was different). At least Karthi has brought in his own style of acting and comedy, rather than copying.
well well well..next you're gonna say that Sura was a bigger hit than Paiya, Singam and Endhiran!!

Siruthai is a pure cocktail from Karthi which cud reach B,C centres well more than A centre, After seeing this movie, Thillangadi movie should have been done by Karthi instead of Jeyam Ravi since he resembles Raviteja's bodylanguage very well Rocket Raja rocks and Rathinavel Pandian roars well, kudos to karthi and co...
Siruthai Super Hit Karthi Rockz in dual role Tammu so cute and also rockz santhanam rockz 3 songs are very good and others are average overall a fully packaged entertainer
