losing? freida p just got lucky.. n she's hardly anything to speak of in looks or talent.. she's got nothing to speak of in bollywood or hollywood ash won miss india, miss world and has enough work to speak of and being one of the most beautiful women in the world..n has done n achieved enough from what there is to achieve in a life.. absurd comparison this... sure..ash is not in her 20s anymore and is ageing gracefully..
Good comparision. One looser to another. One is self procliamed Indian star of all time with greatest number of flops and other is hit with side role in highly acclaimed oscar movie. One is loosing charm and loose body. Other is loosing grip in Hindi cinema.

It is the ordinary face that makes a person perfect model representing a group of people. It is sad that most of the time, models in India, do not even look like ordinary Indians. I think Freida is very lucky for finding the glory of Oscars and she does look fantastic, ordinarily fantastic!

Percentage of Indians who look like Freida--99% of Indian women. Percentage of Indians who look like Aishwarya--0.001%
Being the Indian face for L'Oreal does not mean in any way that she is the most good looking girl from India. It simply means that she is a better known Indian face outside India. As L'Oreal is in the business of selling cosmetic products to women, they choose somebody from show-business and preferrably younger person. Ash is on her decline, in India and outside India. Freida is still enjoying the Oscar glory and so she would be relevant for another few years at least.
