some guys and gals join IT companies and happily accept a position on the bench. In this time they prepare for GMAT and TOEFL and now they display their preparedness on this forum

Well, not watched the movie, but just going through the comments here and find First_Last's comments to the posts hilarious!
I usually get pissed by such digressions on forums..but somehow, First_Last's butting in to make grammatical corrections is an exception..I am totally enjoying it. So, First_Last, any corrections you'd like to make in my post?

Thanks! No correction needed in your post.. LOL! I was not trying to find grammatical mistakes in any of the posts. I just busted one of the posters for misusing the word "cheesy". Apparently, it was poignant to her and other gullibles.

Honestly, I do not agree with RS many times. After he gave poor review to 3 Idiots, he had a big ding in his reputation. Most of the times he ruffles some feathers and it is fun to watch. I play along. He is ok though.

write a review like a review
by Sangeetha on Jan 07, 2011 01:40 AM

It could have been better ??? Is there anything in the world which could not have been better ? The reviewer should have been able to tell what is wrong. All reviewers in rediff write like failed authors. People read a review to know whether to watch a movie or not. Please dont practice your novel writing skills in movie reviews. First of all, most people dont eat food wondering whats wrong with it. You know from the first spoon, whether you like it or not. If you dont like it, you also know what is wrong.

if this case was brought to justice bcoz of public pressure why is kasab eating taxpayers hard earned money and still alive and not brought to justice. Do the people who died need to be some celebrity??

Blooper 1: If justice department would be "working on it", Kasab would have been hanged by now, rather than being kept alive by spending Rs.8 lakhs of public money per day..and yeah, Afzal Guru's is also another case that justice department is "working on"

Blooper 2: Jessica was a model and a celebrity barmaid..

Blooper 3: morons are usually from North India..U must definitely be from there..

Your anger management issues are out of control. Time to spike up those shocks - tell your doctors that.

Like it or not, India is a democratic country. Even Kasab and Afzal have to go through legal proceedings. The proceedings are not over. Verdict is not out there.
In case of Jessica, the verdict was out. The murderer was released. Big difference. Too hard for you to comprehend??
We are not talking about whether the justice system is fair or not here.

Dear June,I don like Firstlast's initial comment either, but you hv taken the fight to an ugly stage, please read again what you just posted.North India has always been at the front in all invasions, whoever invaded they came via North,we created warriors to protect rest of the Country..at times when they were forcefully converting everyone to islam,Northies sacrificed their lives instead of converting..We have had bad govts with worst policies, they do not want their people to be educated so we can't pick on them and can't see what they are doing on the name of religious govts...Please do not generalise everyone..We all have our own good and bad share of life.In North,Where can we study strong concepts when teachers in our schools only show up on Payday??every parent doesnt have the financial or intellectual capacity to educate their children to that analytical level..Waves have alwz been developmental in South India, but North has alwz been left dumb or a laughing punch in any bollywood movie...Trust me check your facts again, lots of INDIANS are doing it together at global level now.I know a friend whose dad got transferred to TN and she had to skip a year of Engineering cos she wasn't a domicile and she hadn't learnt Tamil before...Please come out of your cocoon...and I do not have a businessman daddy,I hold an engg degree and two Masters degrees from Top Aus University and scored higher than my fellow...you know who...but I am not bragging about saying anyone else not be

who are you flattering about South India so much ? have you forgot that you are simply writing about a movie ?If you have so many complaints about the system go and do something instead of sitting and praising South India. Can India be the same with only South in its territory? why do you people exaggerate so much? they are intelligent but didn't have the guts to fight the British because most of the brave freedom fighters came from the north. So check your words

For all those who thought dialogue where BAD/ CHEESY
by Sunit Kumar on Jan 06, 2011 10:56 PM  | Hide replies

Let me ask you one question, have you ever had a verbal fight with some one totally stranger on street, where the surrounding people only watch you like ur some sort of Gandhi...

Well for a woman who has faught against this as in the character of Rani, that's her venting frustration of the people who are not even willing to have the guts of helping the cause of a woman killed in front of their eyes.

I think that frustration is righty depicted !!

real frustration simmers, burns and its effect permeates from the screen into the air around..watch Udaan where the father and son have such high-pressure tensions without any swear-words thrown around..

In NOKJ, the cuss words from Rani's mouth are solely meant to draw the semi-literate Roadies watching ladies into the theatre..the kind of women who feel that by swearing, you become equal to men..and some men who have started watching non-SRK movies and so assume that anything with cuss words is automatically ground-breaking art..

ho-hum..

Will real Burkha Dutaa( Apparently Rani's role inspired from) use cuss words on a fellow air passenger, just bcoz he said he enjoyed her war reporting? This is why the dialogues are cheesy and amateurish! !Bollywood needs another Salim-Javed, though cheesy and cliched, something which were entertaining and enjoyable.....

Actually Rani's character was inspired by dozen reporters who worked on jessica case in real life. While it is not necessary to use bad words, there are ladies who use bad words in life, so nothing wrong in having one character use bad words. My guess is that director made Rani's character cheesy to offset for Vidya's character. Vidya's character is a real life person , so that character has to be all nice and proper. So the whole spice was added to Rani's character.
