of Kerala and india, some ppl think that an actor has to be hunky dory. thats not the case, if that was true hrithik roshan should have been better actor than big b. you see movies like keeredam, nadodikattu, rasatanthram, vadakumnathan etc of mohanlal simply incredible acting. Down south actors survive in industry on the merits of acting rather than cheap publicity. bollywood actors always ride on cheap publicity the day they move out of headlines they also move out of audience's mind.
If Priyadarshan is a true friend, why cannot he give a better role for his friend instead of giving him comic roles. I doubt even he is stabbing him at the back, because he himself knows that Lal is not the actor he used to be once he was. A true friend who wishes to make him better should give him more prominent roles let it be in any language

lal has appointed 10 ppl like u from north to clean his a$$ every morning. if u r unemployed u too can be that lucky one.
Mohan lal is a great actor, in fact the finest if we handpick actors from Indian cinema.I have seen some of his earlier movies and have marveled at his simplistic and effortless acting.
But about his appearance, he has to learn from Bollywood, or even from Mamootty. Noone expects a pot bellied, over weight hero to portray IPS or Indian military officer!
