Mohanlal - The best actor living in India
by harilal k on Jan 04, 2011 03:23 AM  | Hide replies

Commercial films are not the yard sticks for assessing the quality of acting. Just take a look at any of the classics by Mohanlal. [any one will do]. If you are a person who appreciates true acting, you will be able to understand what I meant. Good body shape or beauty does not guarantee quality of acting. It is an inborn quality and very few in India possess that quality.

He was the best but not now. He is acting in mediocre films and making his name bad. Let him act in some films that have good scripts or else in art movies or else he should stop acting

He is a good actor on story based movies where dancing or fighting or even running is not needed. Lately, his acting is also degrading but always a good actor who can make you laugh or cry.

Mr.Happy Friday watch 'kamaladalaam' u can c how a real dancer looks like...he has not studied dancing but he worked it out for the film ..thats is acting...if smebody from hs chilhood studied dancing or karate and doing the same infront of camera is not a verastile acting but someboby doing it for a sting that is acting or determination to do something for the role...in malayalam industry among the stars he is most flexible fighting acording to most stunt masters...

you senseless dumbheads, dont go by mohan lal's belly. havent you seen police officers who have bellies? forget about mohan lal's belly..he is 6ft tall..the damn salman khan is a lilliput acted as a police officer in dabangg which went on to be a hit. lal was excellent as a police officer in company. there is a scene in dabangg where salman's shirt gets torn because of his muscles increasing manifold instantaneously. i guess we need to start jokes on salman instead of rajni. and dont tell me govinda has a fit body. grow up and try to achnowledge and appreciate the excellence of artists irrespective of which part of the country they come from.

all says mohanlal won 4 national awards, but i only know that he won that for 'Bharatham' and 'Vanaprastham', which is produced by him to get the award only when malayalam star Mammotty won his third National Award for 'Dr Ambedkar'

he played a police officer in rgv's company. of course, with that bigbelly. but nowbody cared about his belly, or about his hindi diction, because the acting was superb. let us wait for the film to release, and then criticize his belly

i feel pity 4 u girl, u r still a typical bollywood-chocolate-bubblegumtheme-film viewer.check out world cinema,hollywood.

Body beauty is not a compulsory thing for an actor/hero.
Body fitness and beauty is needed only if he act in a youth goodlooking guys role.watch English films .
then those idiots like SRK who always do chocolate films hasnt won single natioal award

mohanlal has won 4 national awards,6 state awards,7 filmfare,6 filmcritic.he acted in only 2 hindi films earlier and still he bagged the iifa award for best supporting actor.he has atleast 30 blockbusters which every keralite has seen atleast 5 times, more than 50 hits,,
so dont compare those chocolate boy hindi actors with THE COMPLETE ACTOR .ok?
u can compare him with kamal hasan, antony hopkins, marli brando

maniratnam himself is a fn of him.even ur BIGB has astonished seeing his acting.he said it openly also.

so if u dont know anything about him,dnt comment

he is nt gong to do role of 28 year old guy,ok.....

u better see those bubble gum theme ,chocolate, immatured fims like DDLJ,kutch kutc hotahai,u cannot watch a more complex film,it is beyond ur range

if SRK is Abdul Kalam ,Mohanalal is Einstein.dnt ever dare to comment on him

Forget police officer, mohanlal acted as a kathakali dancer in Vanaprastham. After seeing him in Vanaprastham, the french press dubbed him the Gerard Depardieu of India. So outstanding was his acting.

If you really are a movie buff, take a cd of Vanaprastham and watch it. It will leave you awestruck!

A normal person can have bellies... But he is not acting as a normal person... He is a police officer... A police officer can have belly, but not this big... I am sure he will look very awkward among Ajay,Anil and Zyed... He is younger than Anil Kapoor and compare both by looks... And if you are saying look doesnt matter in films, then you are lying...

The maximum waist size of a police man is how much? 40", Cool!! You should take a walk out and look at Indian Policemen..Of course he's over weight..but thats his personal health problem..not related to acting skills..I don't call him the best..But he's definitely at the alltime top 5 actors in the world!!!!
