Dhanush, does not have the look of a hero. hero has to have a chrismatic look, or some real talents. they say he is a good dancer..my God there is no style in his dance or a professionalism, its jsut a man trying to shake his body and jump..he is realy aweful, honestly i will never be able to sit for two hours and watch this shit face.

Off lat their is huge propaganda for Dhanush,though he is a good actor,I find their is a lot of hyphe for his movies especially,his Adukalam ,WHICH WAS NOT ALL THAT GREAT,WITH A WOODEN FACED HEROINE TO BOOT(WHEN WILL TAMIL CINEMA TAKE talented heroines from the south ,is something I fail to understand)besides the trailer is thrust on us every day ,and gives a negative and irritating impact.Dhanush u r good but too much of hype is spoiling that goodness...

Adukalam is an excellent movie, i didnt like it because of its productin house which boasts out loud "Super Hit" even for Sundar C crap movies. But this movie definitely turned out to be a very realistic and surprising movie. When you mean talented I really dont know what you mean by that.

i dono abt seedan... but u guys dono abt aadukalam... it is really a great movie... a different concept and a very different climax... many people said that second half was boring... but secod half was excellent.. it is life... wat do u know abt that movie... hav to feel that movie.. jus say u all cant understand or feel... but don it is not great u don hav rights... heroine is eally nice.. it doesnt look like her first film... her acting is good... if u want u see the trailer.. otherwise shut the tv and go...

Adukalam is average,for gods sake the trailer is there 24 hours a day ,I do watch TV PROGRAMS WHICH INTREST ME ,IN THIS CASE THE TRAILER IS ON EVERY MINUTE,do u mean to say that I should stop watching tv because of a over hyped trailer drilling into our heads.no way...and addresing Roberts question when I mean talented I mean actress who can dub in for themselves,whatever may be the role an actress should use her own voice,nowadays we find ghost voices dubbing for,actresses like,Shreya,Tapasi,Anushka & Tamanna and so on..why take north Indian Heroines ,we have so much talent in our south,why not choose somebody who can mouth their own dialogues..even Khusboo ,Simran and Jyothika got away with it...sad were are the days of stars like Sripriya,Sridevi,Radhika,Revathi,Orvasi,Banupriya,who wooed audience with their talents and had dubbed in their own voices giving life to their performance...that's talent in my opinion,Heroines need to insist on this to be more noteworthy...

Also remember the last time a national award was won by a talented Tamil actress,Priyamani,she was noticed for her performance mainly because she dubbed in her own voice,maybe people can say north indian actress are pretty ,glam dolls and no doubt can act,but when it comes to Tamil films its better to go for somebody from the south ...even when Sridevi,Jayaprada and Rekha went from south to hindi movies they had to train in Hindi,because in the north whatever place you come from they insist that you dub in your own voice .Sride used a ghost voice only for two Hindi movies after that she learned the language fluently and then rest of the movies she dubbed in her voice...
The above review is prejudiced in favour of Dhanus.The picture is fine total family entertainer.Ananya potrayed the role of innocent homely girl and handled it really well. Hero Jaikrishna being a debutant gave a wonderful performance.He never looked like a fresher. Congrats to the director Shiva also.
