Indian film industry is 100 yrs old...it is called an industry, so there will be people who will remain poor, there will be people wholl always grow rich..it is high time the industry as a whole worked out some kind of social security scheme or insurance scheme which will help ppl like Mr. Shinde. OR atleast all the so called big stars, super stars, etc who can hold a 1 or 2 day show and donate the amount to a fund which will cater to the people(from the industry) in need.
great personality indeed,,,, and it is also a shame on those, who did not pay this great old man... for his great works.... not only bachas family should be ashamd of this but the entire film industry should be ashamed, and one or the other day, those who are in bloom now will face the same problems when they become old..

It is a pathetic condition in our country where in the real working force does not get decent attention. Public are enthralled by a person, whose dialogues are written by some one else, whose songs are written and sung and directed by some one else. The sequences are put in order by the editor which is the most important aspect of making a film. Even Oscar rewards these guys but not our foolish Indian public. They elect these dummies as Chief Minister and leaders. Even leader began to imitate these dummies .For example Modi. He only acts on the stage where the speeches are by some one else. This is a pitiable situation for the nation.

the title of this article is really misleading.the man in trouble & his daughter clearly metnioned that they did not ask anybody for help.if they did not ask how can anybody help them? if the man in trouble dont want to go and ask for help what fault of bachans or any stars? and why on earth any star or big people should come running to help each & every person? this editor of sholay dont have any family, friends or relatives? they dont have any moral duty?

looking at your title, it's obvious that you're one slanted indian. Why just marathis, all indians are basically good! Just like you have bad apples in a basket, you have some bad marathis in maharashtra. And, just like all biharis are not thieves, all Singhs are not lions either :)

and don't bother about shinde's address...just help out your maid/driver with some big expenses like weddings or children's education. Point is, to be a philanthropist in india, all you got to do is walk out of your door..no need to go to Bombay and participate in drama.

Re: Why big star pay them

I understand that stars should not pay but there's something called "Insaniyat" which many stars on there T-shirt label it like being human .
